Cofactor Genomics Chalkboard Wall Art

A friend of mine works for a genome sequencing company (Cofactor Genomics) which I think is fascinating but I could not understand it less. So, I offered them what I could, which was some nice lettering in their entryway of their new, insanely awesome, office building.

First three photos by Jason Stoff, final photo by Corey Woodruff.

Kitchen Kulture

Locally-sourced, well-crafted prepared food. Kitchen Kulture provides gourmet and thoughtful food solutions to locations all over the St. Louis area. Plus, they are the nicest people in the whole darn world. We trade art for food sometimes and it’s just the greatest.

Adirondack Forty Sixers

The Adirondack Forty-Sixers club consists of hikers who have climbed to the summits of the 46 major peaks of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York.

For my senior year thesis project I rebranded the ADK46 identity as well as expanded on it’s membership benefits. Some examples of new materials include waterproof maps, completion certificates, and an internal blog for members.

K’NAAN album

This project resulted in the album artwork for a single by Somalian born artist, K’Naan. The song “Wavin’ Flag,” now made famous as the official 2010 World Cup theme song, describes overcoming unspeakable trauma K’Naan faced in the Somali Civil War as a child before escaping to America at 13 years old.

I chose to make a flutter book, meaning all of the spreads fold out into a (waving) flag once unfolded and flipped over. I also made a case for the CD and booklet.

Wendell Berry

A project to compile various works by the author Wendell Berry. The theme here is windows and circles: windows into the life of the author and the scenes he depicts in his stories. The book is bound with long stitch, and the cover is printed using Canson thick black sheets and black ink on an IKON CPP 500.
