Yesterday, I attended This Must Be the Place, a traveling art show that takes place in vacant buildings around St. Louis. Yesterday, I was blown away by the work and how thoughtful it all was. Much of it was site-specific and worked in interesting and creative ways with the space it was placed in. I took some pictures, so, you get to experience my friends standing in front of art in front of abandoned places : )
The show’s description:
This Must Be the Place is a series of nomadic pop-up art shows around the city of St. Louis focused on breaking free from the traditional gallery space. Our next unconventional gallery space is a St. Louis favorite: an early 20th century brick two family flat.
